What stays on your device
Run Analytics reads platform-health records with the permissions you grant. Workout history, the main analysis database, and calculations such as Critical Running Speed, rTSS, CTL, ATL, TSB, training zones, trends and best efforts are processed locally.
No Run account is required for those features. The current app does not use health information for advertising or cross-company tracking.
What optional Garmin sync changes
If you choose to connect an existing Garmin account, selected Garmin workouts, heart-rate information, precise route points, an external-account mapping and an installation identifier are transferred to our servers to provide synchronization and route features. This flow does not start until you give explicit consent.
Garmin sync is optional. The core app and platform-health analytics remain available without it.
Your controls
- Review the Garmin disclosure before enabling the connection.
- Withdraw consent from Data Sources to stop subsequent app access.
- Request deletion of this installation's active Garmin connection, credentials, imported server workouts and route caches.
- Keep local workouts on your device after disconnecting Garmin.
- Choose what to include when manually exporting JSON, CSV, HTML or PDF files.
Uninstalling alone does not delete server data. If an online deletion request fails, retry it from the app or contact support. You may also revoke Run Analytics from your Garmin account settings.
Diagnostics and older versions
Sentry is disabled in the current Run build. Older installed versions may have sent crash, performance and diagnostic information linked to a device or installation. The store privacy labels retain those categories so the disclosure also covers those versions.
